Sharon Gillenwater

Founder and Principal

Sharon Gillenwater is an expert in program strategy, including account-based marketing, event marketing, marketing communications and CXO engagement programs. Born and raised in San Diego, California, she worked for seven years as a writer before earning a master's degree combining international relations and business from the University of California, San Diego.

After spending four years in sales and marketing for a San Francisco-based localization firm (now part of Lionbridge), she started her own consulting firm, San Francisco Group. She has been running this business since 2000, creating content, marketing strategies and programs for companies such as PeopleSoft, Siebel Systems, Sun Microsystems, Lockheed Martin, Cisco, NetApp, Symantec, Adobe, Barclay's Global Investors and Ernst & Young. Sharon lives in San Francisco with her husband and two sons and enjoys running the hills around Dolores Park and singing in a local rock band, Playdate.


Lee Demby

Principal

Lee is a managing principal at Boardroom Insiders and joined the company in the summer of 2010. After spending six years in mid-market commercial banking and the last 10 years developing enterprise relationships as a principal at First Research (now a division of Hoover’s), Lee understands the importance of holistic CXO knowledge when building trusted business relationships. For Boardroom Insiders, Lee will spend the majority of his time in business development building awareness of the company’s unique hand-crafted Executive Profiles. Lee lives in Fort Mill, SC with his wife and three sons, enjoys spending time with his family, and any chance he gets to mountain bike, ski, and golf.
